What a Game!!

I know I’m not the only one but who thinks this but the Bulls and Celtics game last night was INCREDIBLE! Its games like these that make me love the playoffs so much! Last night I was at work and where I work they keep TV's on for people to watch other games other than the one they paid to come see, and last night they had the Bulls, Celtics game six game on. About halfway through the game I walked out and noticed that the Bulls had the game pretty well under control so I decided to go back to work. Later in the night when I was almost off me saw that the Celtics had clawed back into the game and had a chance at winning it! I watched as the game went into the first overtime and was pretty surprised. After I got done with work I got home and found that the game was heading into its 3RD OVERTIME. That's when I decided that's what I’d be watching until it was over, and it didn't disappoint. The drama all started when the Celtics star Paul Pierce fouled out with 35 long seconds left in the 3rd overtime and Joakim Noah hit a free throw giving Chicago a 3 point lead. The next play that Doc Rivers drew up worked to perfection and Eddie House hit the wide open shot for two, bringing the Celtics to within 1 again. The Bulls then got to inbound the ball when the Celtics new big man Glenn "Big Baby" Davis fouled Brad Miller and also fouled out giving Miller two free-throws which he calmly swished giving the Bulls a three point lead again. The next possession for the Celtics ended with a Rajon Rondo tip-in off of his own missed shot. After another time out the Bulls got the ball back with 21 seconds left. The Bulls drew up another perfect inbound play but Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich missed a lay-up giving the ball back to the Celtics with 15 seconds left and a chance to win. The Celtic's Rajon Rondo decided to take it upon himself to win the game but the Bulls' Derrick Rose had other plans. When Rondo set up Rose with a nice pump fake and faded away Rose somehow found the energy to spring up off the floor to block his shot and get the steal after which he was fouled and given 2 free-throws and a chance to seal the game with 3 seconds left. He missed BOTH OF THEM! The Celtics still had a chance but Rajon Rondo missed a prayer for a little inside half court.

Its games like these that make me an NBA and a Basketball fan, and as I said in an earlier post this series was my upset pick and it's one game away from coming true!!
